Welcome to the COGS

COGS 2009 AGM

The The COGS AGM was held at Lostwithiel Golf Club on Friday 3rd April 2009.

The main points coming out of the meeting were: -

  • Buddy System - no improvement with on time replies to events
  • Coach - not many use it - very costly
  • Mini bus - limited to 12 COGS plus clubs - book quickly if you want it!
  • New members - Martin O’Brien, Ken Robinson, Tony Coles and Paul Bowden
  • Trophy amnesty - please bring them back
  • Fine monies to go to 2 Charities - £250 each............
  • Three and a half putts - where did that come from!
  • Pete O'Briens social events.....

COGS en France 2009

Ploemeur Ocean

The French trip has been provisionally booked for Tuesday 21st April to Sunday 26th April, 2009.

I say provisionally as the prices etc have not yet been released by Brittany Ferries, so it is subject to acceptable costs. However, it is highly likely that these dates will be final. The trip will be pretty much identical to last year.
